Why Santa Elves?
Congratulations on choosing to make a difference this holiday for a child in foster care! We know there are a lot of ways to spread Christmas joy, and it can be tough to decide where your donation will make the most meaningful impact. Santa Elves has a unique, direct and personal connection to each child you are helping, ensuring each child receives the exact presents they have asked Santa for! Santa Elves knows the needs of theses children and the Department of Children’s Services. Each and every present is tailored to the children’s needs and we carefully consider any intellectual, emotional and physical needs, so that Christmas is special *to them*. We provide Christmas for emergency placement children during the holidays. It doesn’t matter if we’ve already distributed names to sponsors. It doesn’t matter if we are at Walmart at midnight the night before the Christmas party. We are going to promise new and “veteran” foster children alike have a good holiday. Lastly, we don’t forget about these children after the holiday is over – we stay up-to-date with the children and their presents – the remainder of the year!

Making Dreams Come True
One Christmas, Sant Elves made it their mission to give three special siblings who spent years in foster care a happy holiday and a bright future. The oldest sibling was 18, a young man who had aged out of the foster care system, didn’t want to leave his siblings behind. He desperately wanted a bicycle so that he could get a job and earn enough money to give his siblings a life outside of foster care.
Santa would bring him the bike he dreamed of, but he was unwilling to accept the Christmas gift, unless the big jolly fella could also bring bikes for his siblings – and he DID! For an entire year, he rode the bicycle to his new job and the next year, he was able to afford a car of his own. This is the magic your donation to Santa Elves creates!
